REDress The Exhibition

December 9th - 10th 2016

VF's REDress Exhibition is based on the original REDress Project art installation by Canadian artist Jaime Black in which 130 Red Dresses were hung around the University of Saskatchewan Sept 17 to Oct 5, 2014. Through the public display of empty red dresses, the installation sought to create space for dialogue around the gendered and racialised nature of violence against Indigenous women in Canada. VF is hosting the exhibition as a part of oue annual 16 Days Of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
